Children's hospitals get into the spirit of Halloween!

While many children are out trick-or-treating and celebrating Halloween, tens of thousands of pediatric patients are in the hospital receiving treatments at local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Thankfully, these hospitals have doctors, nurses, therapists, specialists, hospital staff members, and volunteers who are willing to go the extra mile to make Halloween just as spook-tacular ?to give their patients the BOOst ?they need to feel better.

Check out some of the hospital celebrations that are just too cute to spook:

Patients at Children’s Hospital of Georgia got to trick-or-treat throughout the hospital with the help of costumed hospital staff and therapy dogs.

To make Halloween even more ex-skull-ent ?for the kids, a number of hospitals brought in the help of some special guests, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Carolina Panthers, the Nashville Predators, the Boston Bruins, therapy dogs, the Charleston and Mount Pleasant Police Departments, and some amazing singers from a New Orleans second grade class.

Patients and staff at Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando, Fla. and Johns Hopkins Childrens Center in Baltimore, Md. got into the Halloween spirit with pumpkin decorating contests. The results were gourd-geous! ?

The halls of many hospitals and the beds in Neonatal Intensive Care Units have been taken over by superheroes and unicorns and elephants, (oh my!). Check out some of the most adorable costumes that are sure to lift your *spirits.* ?
