Nothing could prepare the Rodriguez family when their 4-year-old son, Matt, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) on Valentine’s Day earlier this year. One month after his diagnosis, they also faced the unpredictability of protecting him from a global pandemic.
