Panda Express is making a Difference at Cook Children’s

Panda Cares is crucial to who they are as a company. Their purpose is to foster the spirit of giving at Panda Restaurant Group by serving the health and education needs of underserved children. With the amazing in-store donation programs going on at each location, you would think that is enough. Not for Panda Express. In addition to asking their customers to support the cause they are so passionate about, their employees also give to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and therefore to Cook Children’s. They donate food and volunteer hours to local dance marathon programs and more. Several Panda Express Store Managers recently came out to Cook Children’s Medical Center to tour the facility and learn more about how their dollars change lives. The tour ended in one of the most magical spots in the hospital: Build-A-Bear. Here the managers learned about the Prayer Bear Program where over 300 bears find homes in the arms of children each week. As they just toured the Cardiac ICU, they decided to build 2 bears to donate back to the unit for children coming out of heart surgery.
