Partners with Panda Express

As one of the fastest growing partners for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Panda Express continues to deepen their relationship with the communities they serve. Locally, the Panda Express stores that support Cook Children’s have connected to the medical center in many ways. Yesterday, we had the honor of hosting an Area Coach of Operations (ACO) and his team of general managers at the medical center for their monthly area meeting. Sitting in the meeting provided a deeper understanding of the culture and values Panda Express instills into their management team. Having worked in the food service and customer service industry, I have always respected the poise and dignity each manager has with respect to their staff and customer base. We broke midday for a tour of 2 areas in the Medical Center and finished out the day listening to the inspiring words of CEO Peggy Cherng and Chief Marketing Officer, Andrea Cherng. Andrea shared a quote from Winston Churchill which seems to encompass Panda Express’ drive to make an impact in the community. “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” Panda Express gives so much to their communities and we are forever grateful for that support.
