Two Cook Children’s Patients Create First-Of-Its-Kind Music Video

As we come to the end of October, National Bullying Prevention Month, we wanted to share a story of two special Cook Children’s patients who came together to create something unique to express themselves and their experiences to the world.

Emma and Stella are two special teenage Cook Children’s patients who had never met until their collaboration was complete. Emma, 15, wrote and recorded a beautiful song that captured her feelings and experiences of being bullied growing up. Stella, 16, is a talented artist who listened to Emma’s song and created the illustrations for the music video over the course of a year.

These two strong and talented girls were able to create something incredible despite their tough circumstances and are reminding everyone that words can hurt and bullying is never acceptable.
