Wrapping up Extra Life with Shield Healthcare

2018 was a record breaking year for Cook Children’s Extra Life. 492 gamers banded together to help raise over $86,000 for the patients and families at Cook Children’s. The most notable donation though did not come from an individual. It was given by Shield Healthcare. Shield Healthcare was the 2018 Extra Life Platinum sponsor and their gift of $15,000 helped propel Extra Life to new heights and in turn bring in more funds to help heal children.

Here is a snapshot of 2018:

•             490 gamers joined Extra Life to raise money for Cook Children’s

•             Over $86,000 was raised to benefit patients and their families

•             Several events were hosted across the metroplex

•             Extra Life Guild Members educated people at a number of conventions and festivals in the DFW area
